This is a question asked time and time again. "How Can I get the vocals out of a track". In short, Your best bet is to find the acapella version of that track if it exists. But what can you do if you really want to remix a track and you cant find the acapella? You can try this process. It is amazing on some tracks, and dissapointing on others but it's well worth a try.

Thanks for the comments and emails. I finally decided...Live is the only DAW I use, ever! But it really doesnt matter that these...I use Ableton Live for this sort of thing. Anyone else a Live fan?...35 years, and the best they can do is upgrade the wiring, put better LEDs...read more
