We apologise for the huge amount of disgusting spam in the comments of this site. Seems we were targeted as an easy spam site. In response we have installed a new registration system which should stop spam for now. More updates coming!

Looks like some of the folks on Digg didn't quite get why this site is such a good idea, but meh, whatever. I think it's a great idea.
Given the sorts of people that will be using this site, it would be nice if the profile was fleshed out a bit more. What we do (DJ, produce, journo, casual listener, etc), what genres we prefer, what SW we use - or even just room for a paragraph 'about us'. There's a world of possibilities for building a site like this.
Well over at digg theres 400 or so diggs, vs 67 people complaining about the news being spam. I always figured there were a few audio guys (or girls) over at digg, and if getting thier attention meant I had to post a link then who cares.
Great idea about the profiles. Shouldnt be too hard, I'll get that done ASAP.
